Let me start out by saying that The Sasquatch Escape was a lot of fun to read. It is a part of The Imaginary Veterinary Series by Suzanne Selfors. I found this book because it is on the Oregon Battle of the Books list for this year.
The premise of this book is about a young boy named Ben who goes to live with his grandpa. He starts noticing some strange things about this town. One day he comes to find out that there is a veterinary hospital in town for "imaginary" creatures who turn out to not be so imaginary. That is when the Sasquatch escapes and Ben is the one who has to help get him back to the veterinarian. Does Ben succeed? You gotta read to find out.
This book is written very well and keeps you turning the pages. It is also pretty funny which makes it even more enjoyable to read. I just bought the second book in the Imaginary Veterinary Series and am excited to see what Ben will be up to this time.
Suzanne Selfors's website has her other books listed, as well as teacher guides, which I love to find! Here is her website:

There are also activity guides which would be great for any student at home trying to study for OBOB.
Thanks for reading!
